ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
On behalf of our client, a fast-growing UAE technology distribution company, Nexus People is recruiting a Cyber Security Solutions Engineer to support the sales team during customer engagements. The role sits within the Sales department and reports to the Sales Manager.
We are seeking a candidate with strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity solutions who can understand customer requirements, design suitable security solutions, and drive successful customer conversion through effective technical positioning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand customer requirements and design suitable cybersecurity solutions.
- Conduct product presentations and demos for customers and partners.
- Prepare technical proposals and respond to customer requirements.
- Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements when required.
- Support the sales team during customer engagements.
- Support solution positioning together with vendors and distributors.
- Identify opportunities and support business development activities.
- Contribute to successful customer conversion.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and technologies.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into suitable technical solutions.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for customer-facing engagements.
- Good understanding of the UAE market and vendor/distributor ecosystem.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Direct Proof of Concept (PoC) and technical presales experience in cybersecurity solutions within the UAE market.
